great concert
The wonderful concert had great music. Stunning graphics were like they were in 3D and huge. Charlie Parr's excellent singing, playing, and preaching were heard every word. The crowd got moving with good music and ok graphics from the 2nd act. The poor guy's message was lost, sound was poor, and no one came to rescue him, either the mic was turned down or whatever. We could not hear him as it was with those around us in sec 205. They took a break a little early and did the ask-in break, not for 15+ minutes before the whole break was another 20 minutes, so like 40++ plus minutes with no music. Far too late to eat. Once you did adoption 5 max 10 min, you're waiting around a long time. I stayed, even though I had a long drive home, over an hour, so even thought of leaving but glad. The fine 1st bands were from what we heard. The ticketing line was confused when we got there, even though we were on site plenty early. They had to search each pocketbook at the front. One sign outside says okay to leave keys and wallet in pockets of pants. They stop and make everyone take them out when you get up. No one goes out and removes the wrong sign. They had many workers standing doing nothing and could have opened up more lines. Only one guy seemed to care, and all others were not doing much of anything, others asked them to get involved. I will think hard about the long drive and waiting in those unorganized lines again. We are much more busy and move people faster at Jags, where I work. They took far too long to process one person. We missed the 1st act, and I'm sure many missed the 2nd and part of Casting Crowns. I would have expected much better by event staff, this venue has been open for a long time. Just poorly done, no sign about food location, etc.
